What Is this

In collaboration with other abortion access leaders, Marisa provides funder education and philanthropic advising to the people who want to create the new pipeline of support to ensure that abortion care in the United States continues, no matter what.


Who is this for

Funders - whether an individual, foundation, donor advised fund or philanthropic serving organization - who want to understand who makes abortion access real for Americans and where money can be moved to both make effective change and ensure access is protected.

Services

  • One hour to 90 minute trainings about topics such as:

    • Abortion Access Ecosystem 101: who does what, where, and what impact does it have on care?

    • Why, in an increasingly fractured and fascist government, supporting abortion care is still vital

    • The importance of later abortion care and eliminating viability bans

    • Specialized trainings as requested

  • Three- or six-month contracts working with funders to identify their giving priorities and needs, and connect them to organizations to support

  • Contracts through the duration of a grant for advice and referrals around shifting laws, priorities or other concerns as they arise

  • Shorter-term or one-off support, contracted on an hourly basis for educational or advising services.
